Transmogrification: A Changing Cabinet of Curiosity

This is an interactive work dealing with the interaction of object, photograph and memory. The image presented was of objects that I have collected over the years that was divided into over 100 unique buttons which created a unified personal collection of memories. Viewers were invited to take a button, and in exchange were asked to leave a written description of a memory, an actual object or, in some cases, a response to the button they took. As the viewer removed something from my cabinet, replacing it with something else, they altered the exhibit. At the same time the button that they took became the newest addition to their own cabinet of curiosities.
